Our clear aligners come as a set of multiple aligners. Each aligner will make slight adjustments to tooth positioning, a process that is reviewed and approved by an Australian registered dentist or orthodontist before you undergo treatment. You’ll begin wearing a new set of aligners as prescribed, advancing you to the next stage of your new smile. We make it even easier by shipping your aligners directly to you.
The registered Australian dentist or orthodontist assigned to review and approve your treatment plan will determine the required treatment length for your needs, but our clear aligners will straighten most smiles in an average of 4-6 months and our Nighttime Clear Aligners™ will straighten your teeth while you sleep in an average of 10 months.
Every SmileDirectClub order begins with a free Smile Assessment, followed by a remote impression kit or a free SmileShop appointment to determine if you are a candidate for treatment. The clear aligner system is designed for minor to moderate teeth correction, including space between teeth, crowding, rotations, and some bite correction. Am I a Candidate?
First, you’d get started with our $79 remote impression kit or a free 3D imaging appointment at a SmileShop. Once your eligibility is confirmed and your treatment plan is ready, you have two convenient package options to choose. With Package 1, Single Pay, you can make a one-time payment of $2,825 which is up to 60% less than traditional metal braces.* Or, you can choose Package 2, SmilePay™, with a deposit of $299 and $119 a month for 24 monthly payments, which includes 2 sets of retainers to maintain your straighter smile for a total price of $3,155.

At this time, SmileDirectClub is not covered by private health insurers. We are working hard to educate private health insurers on our mission and the safe, effective services we enable Australian registered dentists and orthodontists to provide through our telehealth platform.
If at the end of your treatment plan, having followed the treatment guidelines, you haven’t achieved a straighter smile, contact us so your registered Australian dentist or orthodontist can re-evaluate your results. If your re-evaluation is approved by the registered Australian dentist or orthodontist, you may be eligible for additional aligners to continue your journey. Please be aware that the Club Warranty is outlined on our Returns Page. Don’t forget: You need to notify us within 30 days of completing your treatment plan for the warranty to remain valid.
To maintain your warranty:
Wear your aligners as directed;
Register your aligners at SmileDirectClub.com.au/patient-portal; and
Respond to each virtual check-in by sending an email with the requested photos.
